HIGH POINT, N.C. – This week in High Point University athletics, the HPU men's golf team begins competition at the Ironwood Collegiate Classic on Monday and Tuesday in Greenville, N.C.
On Tuesday, men's soccer travels to Rock Hill, S.C., to take on Winthrop in a Big South matchup. Friday features competition across multiple sports. Men's and women's cross-country teams will compete at the Richmond Invitational at Pole Freen Park in Richmond, Va. Volleyball heads to Spartanburg for a matchup against USC Upstate on Friday, then travels to UNC Asheville on Saturday.
Saturday brings a soccer doubleheader at Vert Stadium. Women's soccer hosts Radford at 4 p.m. in a Big South matchup before men's soccer welcomes Longwood for a 7:30 p.m. contest. The Panthers' week concludes Sunday when women's golf opens competition at the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate at Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.
