Paige offers to plan the annual holiday party at her parent's hotel in the Rockies, the Coyote Creek Inn, which will surely help her score a promotion at the upscale event planning company she works for. She decides on a "Christmas around the world" theme, to showcase the universal magic of the season through the diverse Christmas traditions of the Inn's guests. Dylan, a charismatic real estate developer and single father, is visiting Coyote Creek for the holidays with his son. What Paige doesn't know is that her parents are planning to sell the Inn and that the potential buyer is her new acquaintance Dylan. The fate of the Inn and Paige's relationships are both left for the magic of the holiday season to decide.

Christina is a toy store owner who inherited the shop on the Nantucket wharf from her mom, who recently passed away, and she is having a hard time moving on. Andy is a confident, driven, real estate developer who is visiting his father on Nantucket with his young daughter Wink. Christina is dismayed when she learns Andy and his father plan to redevelop the wharf into a new marina. If this happens, she may have to give up the toy store that has such deep personal meaning and is part of her family's legacy. Christina also discovers she has feelings for Andy but being on opposite sides of the development project could nip their romance in the bud.

Q: I am fortunate enough to be a snowbird. We own a condo in Jacksonville, Florida. Our condo is in a development that was purchased by an investor/developer in the late 1980s. The developer improved the existing units, added several new buildings, sold some of the units and rented out the rest. We think the developer still controls a bit over 51% of the units.
