Only $5 for 5 months

I went shopping in downtown Hickory this past weekend and was disappointed to see so few people wearing face masks inside the stores.

Retail workers are at higher risk of exposure to the virus because they come into close contact with many people during the day. Even if they are not high-risk individuals, they may have loved ones at home that are.

How can we help protect our retail workers, other front-line workers, and those at higher risk in our communities? Health experts remind us to remember the 3 Ws: Wearing cloth face covers, Waiting six feet apart, and Washing our hands or using sanitizer. We all need to do our part to slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect our communities.
