Clever pet sheepdog plays fetch by herself on set of stairs
A clever border collie has shown that when it comes to playing fetch she does not need any pesky human's help to have a ball. The sheepdog - filmed by owner Ms Zhao in the city of Xining, Qinghai Province, China - has learned to play the game without anyone to throw a ball for her. Video footage from March 12 of the crafty collie - named Tudou, which translates to 'Potato' - shows her releasing a bouncy rubber ball at the top of a concrete staircase and then belting to the bottom to catch it. The footage shows the playful pup repeating the trick over and over again without ever seeming to tire of it. The only slip came when one of the balls bounced straight into the apartment block's stairwell rubbish chute.
