The nature of the relief being sought is as follows: Foreclosure sale to satisfy unpaid property taxes owing to Burke County on your interest in the property described as follows: BEGINNING on an existing one inch iron pipe, southwest corner of the Carolyn Matthews property as described in Deed recorded in Book 749, page 167, and second corner in the description in that Deed recorded in Book 904, page 1665, and from said beginning point runs thence with the (now or formerly) Matthews line North 82° 15' 25" East 98.57 feet to an existing iron pipe; thence with the line of the Dwane Harris property as described in Deed recorded in Book 482, page 332, South 09° 31' 00" West 173.14 feet to a 3/8 inch rebar set; thence a new line North 56° 23' 10" West 101.84 feet to a 3/8 inch rebar set in the line of the (now or formerly) Nell Johnson tract as described in Deed recorded in Book 634, page 821; thence with the Johnson line North 08° 51' 50" East 102.32 feet to a one inch iron pipe, the point of BEGINNING, and containing 0.30 acre, more or less, as appears from that survey for Bennett and Melissa Chapman prepared by Pendergrass Surveying, Morganton, North Carolina, dated August 19, 1998. Subject to easements, restrictions and rights of way of record, and matters of survey. Also being identified as REID # 52858, Burke County Tax Office.
